About Us
Who We Are
Solace & Light Foundation exists to walk alongside families facing the overwhelming burden of medical hardship — bringing hope, practical support, and the light of compassion to those who need it most.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Our Mission
It is our mission to be a light and bring hope to people who are going through tough times, specifically around healthcare. Whether that's through donations to medical billing organizations or specific medical condition/illness foundations. This organization is inspired by Matthew 5:14 and 16 (KJV), which states, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven." We strive to be a light in times of hardship and struggle by giving back to healthcare-related charities and organizations that make a difference in the lives of others.
Our Vision
We strive to serve others, restore hope, and be a light when someone needs it most.

About the Founder
Riley Guiste
Founder of Solace & Light Foundation
The heart behind Solace & Light Foundation belongs to someone who has lived with medical hardship from a distance, working as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital; she has witnessed the misfortune, uncertainty, and emotional challenges that patients and their families endure.
Driven by faith and a conviction that families in crisis deserve more than sympathy, Riley set out to build something tangible: an organization that actively connects people with the resources, organizations, and support they need to find hope again. One of Riley's favorite quotes is, "Even on the darkest days, the sun will rise again." To her, this serves as a reminder that hardship does not have to define someone's story and that hope can still be found in the midst of uncertainty. While sympathy allows us to acknowledge another person's pain, compassion calls us to take action. This is where Solace & Light comes into play; it encourages people to be a light in others' lives.
That vision — rooted in compassion, sustained by faith, and expressed through action — is the foundation on which Solace & Light was built.
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."
— Psalm 147:3 (KJV)
